We’re still here!
Apologies for the radio silence- don’t worry, we’re still here!
Between all the work we’ve been taking on, we’ve not had much time to keep our followers in the loop. We thought we should use this break in updates as an opportunity to kickstart the Stone Pony Digital blog.
What have we been up to?
We’ve completed several brand new customer facing websites, such as Gold Santa Jewellery.
Gold Santa jewellery are a new business based in Rosemount, Aberdeen who specialise in the design, production and repair of jewellery. They required a new website in order to provide key information on these service areas.
After some discussion, we decided the best course of action was to build a simple multi-page website before adding complex functionality. Now that the website has been built, we are making plans to add further functionality, such as an online shop.
We’ve also been working on a couple of content focused sites, such as Freshly Centered.
Freshly Centered is a lifestyle and fitness blog created by physiotherapist & pilates instructor Tracy Ward. Tracy already had a website in place- however, it was in need of a restructure & several updates. We decided to rebuild the website from scratch and import her existing blog content from her legacy site.
In addition to the blogs, we laid out the information on upcoming classes and free instructional pilates videos in a clearer manner.
Finally, some new functionality was added- mailing list signups and push notifications to ensure Tracy’s repeat readers are aware every time she posts!
We were also tasked with adding online shopping functionality to several existing websites.
The well established restaurant (and new Stone Pony Digital client) Milton Brasserie were planning to sell gift vouchers over the Christmas period via online channels.
We decided the best course of action was to implement a simple ecommerce system with additional voucher functionality. This meant that the client would not be tied into a sole purpose ‘voucher system’ and they would also have the ability to sell physical products online!
The newly implemented system allows the purchaser to send a copy of the gift voucher directly to the recipient via email with their own attached message.
Should they require it, we also added the ability to use these vouchers for a secondary purpose- the online sale of event tickets!
On the graphics front, several clients asked us to make corporate Christmas cards to send to clients and other potential business contacts.
Here’s an example of a Christmas card put together for our friends over at Eat Van Drink (one of the best food trucks in Aberdeen!)
We are working on a number of exciting new projects with some new clients (we can’t go into details just yet…). Be sure to check in with us soon to see what we’re up to- and don’t forget to follow us on facebook!
