As an already established beautician in the Aberdeen city area, Monika Watkowska was looking to develop a new brand for her already thriving business.
After an initial research phase and several conceptual mockups, we settled on use of a decorative typographic logo paired with modern sans-serif fonts. The final logo was then developed through a series of further meetings & feedback.
Several line drawings were created for subtle background use & visual interest. These paired well with the simplicity of the typographic logo.
An extensive Brand Standards document was created with main & alternate use logos, colour codes, suggested fonts for various uses, supporting brand graphic assets & illustrations and suggested photography styles.
In order to create a web presence quickly for Moya, we settled on an expanded 1 page layout for the website.
This website contains all manner of relevant information such as available services, prices, opening hours and the ability to make simple booking requests through a contact form.
We used Moya’s extensive brand standards documentation to inform the majority of the decisions for this website’s design.
A posts/articles section for ‘Nail Talk’ was also added - this allows Monika to write detailed posts about essential follow-up nail advice & treatment.
Several promotional graphics were designed by us including gift vouchers, business cards & promotional posters. We also sourced a low cost yet high quality print for these items.
